As a production coach, I’m a self-starting, ensemble-oriented team member, focused on supporting the story, and the storytelling work of the actors, the director, and writer.
As a coach for individuals, I utilize Fitzmaurice Voicework and Knight Thompson Speechwork primarily. I also integrate from my experiences and work with several other voice, speech, movement, acting, and somatic approaches. Your sessions are always focused on you and your individual needs, whether you need help refining your next audition or presentation, or if you are seeking ongoing voice, speech, or accent coaching. “I did accent coaching (German, Southern and French) with Josh, and it was always a fun and enjoyable time. They are very knowledgeable and specific in identifying the characteristics of each accent, which allowed me to separate my approaches to each accent such that I don't confuse myself when doing the accents. They were also detailed in describing the physical placements of the mouth when explaining the characteristics of each accent, which really helped me a lot as I am a person who tends to mostly only grasp the feeling of an accent when learning one, so having the technical knowledge to produce the sounds of an accent helped me with doing accents more accurately.
