Currently, Elisa Gonzales, Josh, and Adi Cabral are co-authoring a book with the working title ‘Performing Accents and Dialects of the Spanish Speaking Diaspora’. The book and its accompanying website are slated for publication in spring 2025.

Edited by Rockford Sansom, this volume is a collection of work focused on identity in voice and acting training. The chapters originally featured as articles in the Voice and Speech Review. Published by Routledge Taylor and Francis 2024.

This article is part of the Hollywood Career Series by Ada Tseng. Josh was one of a few coaches interviewed for the article, on career paths and processes.

This article was co-authored with Joy Lanceta Coronel and Jacqueline Springfield. Published in the Voice and Speech Review, this article was one of the top ten most read articles for the VSR in 2020, and was nominated by the journal editor for an ATHE Outstanding Article award.

Theatre Story Archives: Quarantine Stories

This project by Michael Dean Morgan seeks to “preserve the stories of our community (theatre artists) and the shift into quarantine as well as the many aspects of this year”. Josh participated in an interview conversation with Jacqueline Springfield.

Vocal Coaching the Actor: A Drunken Performance

Josh worked with faculty director Mark Tymchyshyn as the Voice and Text coach on SCAD’s departmental production of The Drunken City. This embodied research thesis involved the full professional coaching process, including pre-rehearsal research and design, cast workshops in vocal extremes, and individual actor coaching. This work resulted in a department Ovation Award.
